MOBILE NOBLE NEWS
By Bill Yoos
Our campers, motorhomes & 5th wheels are now getting a much deserved rest. They have served us well in 2007.
In July we camped in a Grand Lake Campground at Grove, OK. We were there right after the big floods that hit the 4-state area. Water had covered our campground but when we got there it was all cleaned up and we couldn’t even tell it had flooded.
Marilyn & Jerry James joined us in Grove for their first campout with the Mobile Nobles. They brought fish and even fried it for us. That’s when we all decided that they would make excellent members.
August found us camped at Carthage, MO.
Our ladies did some shopping and our Nobles played cards.
On Saturday morning we did the make your own omelet in a bag breakfast. It’s always amazing how good these omelets are. All of our ladies bring in good food to go with these omelets. Mid, Bob Rhuems lady, always gets up early & makes the best melt-in-your-mouth cinnamon rolls you have ever eaten.

Parsons, KS, was our camping choice for September. Our members, Mark & Donna Wilmoth, live in Parsons, and they took us to good places to eat. Donna took our ladies to several garages sales and they came back with lots of bargains.
October is the month we camp with Don & Ann B adders at their farm Northwest of Lone Elm, KS. I think all of our Mobile Nobles. would agree that this is a great experience.
The men help get the hog ready to start cooking on Saturday for the noon meal on Sunday.
The ladies play cards & dominoes & go shopping. They do a little cooking and wash a lot of dishes. Everyone has a wonderful time.
Toward the end of October, we are back in Osceola, MO. Several of our members go to Texas for the winter. This makes it hard to set a date when we can have a Christmas Party, so we have it at our last campout at Osceola.
Bob Rhuems and his Lady, Mid, prepared the turkey, dressing and gravy and the other ladies prepared the traditional Christmas dishes to complete our meal. We had a brown bag gift exchange which is always fun.
