Dear Nobles & Ladies,

    I first want to thank all the Nobility for their’ confidence in electing me as Potentate for 2008. I promise to work hard and make every decision with the good of Mirza in mind. I want mostly to thank my lady Denise and my family for all the support over these years spent on the Divan Line.
    I would like to congratulate Illustrious Sir John & Jana on a great year. I knew John would make a great Potentate and he didn’t let us down. I would also like to thank Illustrious Sir Paul Uttley and Lady Glenda for not only appointing us to the line but all their leadership
and advice along the way, not to mention the job they do in the office. I also would like to thank the other Past Potentate’s we had the honor of being on the Divan Line with, we had a great time with all of them.
    Along the way of our travels we made a lot of new friends, some so close I feel they are part of my own family. The only way Denise & I could have made it through all these years of travel is to have great support at home, moms, dads, sisters, brothers & friends all kicked in to help. Our two daughters, Ashton & Bailey, mean everything to us and I think they are two lucky kids with a deep appreciation for the Shrine.
    Please come out and enjoy the events we have planned for this year, without your involvement and participation it will be all for not. We have a hard working Divan who takes every event and fundraiser very serious and does .whatever it takes to make each a success. I look forward to serving you this year as your Potentate & I hope as your friend
    My motto this year is “A family of Friends Helping Kids & Having Fun. Come Out and Enjoy the Ride!”

First Lady Denise
    It’s hard to believe another shrine year has come and gone. This past year has flown by. I feel Illustrious Sir John and Jana did a wonderful job for Mirza and even though I know they will still be active we will miss them on the Divan Line.
    David and I have been very busy planning this year’s calendar and we both hope you will come out and support Mirza as much as possible. I would like to thank our Shrine Parents, Illustrious Sir Paul and Glenda Uttley; both have been wonderful to David and me through the years but especially this past year with all our questions and needed help in planning for 2008.
    It’s hard to believe when David was appointed the Divan Line our girls, Ashton & Bailey were only 10 and 6 but we feel they have been very lucky girls to have had the chance to grow up with such wonderful people as Mirza Shriner’s. Our girls as well as David and I will treasure the friends we have made along our shrine travels.
    As most of you know this year for the Divan Ladies Project I have chose to publish a cookbook which is now for sale at $10.00 each. The cookbook “Mirza Friends & Family Cookbook” can be purchased from any Divan Lady or from the Mirza Office. I’m very excited about the cookbook and hope you will be also.
